Dining, Entertainment, & Shopping

Several well-loved dining destinations provide delicious meals to Nashua residents and those who visit. The popular pub of J. Bartlett's Public House offers more than just your average bar food. Get buffalo-fried Brussels sprouts, spring arugula salad, New England clam chowder, or create your own pizza.

If you're looking for seafood and a lively vibe, Surf Restaurant is the place to go. Get a small plate of crab cakes, lobster fries, or crispy dragon shrimp, or opt for a full entree. Patrons love their ginger scallion shrimp burger, surf-style tacos, and various sushi selections.

MT's Local Kitchen & Wine Bar serves New American entrees. They are only open for dinner between 4 pm and 9 pm, Tuesday through Saturday. Though the booth seating is enjoyable inside, many prefer to dine on the provided patio. Feast on a white truffle Caesar salad, chicken Milanese, almond-encrusted salmon, grilled pizza, or a bacon burger.

Shopping opportunities abound in Nashua. Find shops you love at Nashua Mall Plaza or Pheasant Lane Mall. The plaza is ideal for a quick trip when you need to run into a shop or two for wardrobe updates or gifts. Pheasant Lane spans two stories and offers a variety of stores and restaurants. There is also a children's play area to occupy your little ones. This mall can quickly help you fill your day.

The Nashua River Rail Trail is beautiful to explore. Walk or bike the paths and traverse the area as you take in the scenery. Mine Falls Park allows you to scout forest trails and the riverfront. It's also where many come to boat, fish, and bike. Others utilize the ball fields.

Join Nashua Country Club if you're an avid golfer. Aside from the gorgeous greenery, you will also find practice facilities, tennis courts, a pool, space for curling, and a fitness room. There is even a cross-country course ideal for winter skiing and snowshoeing.

One of the most significant events in Nashua is the Winter Holiday Stroll. It has been known to attract 40,000 people to the downtown area. From City Hall to the library, make your way along the lit path as you enjoy live performances and delectable foods from local vendors.
